We are situated on the banks of the Bonkolo Dam, 10km from Queenstown (Komani) in the Eastern Cape Province.
The Eastern Cape is one of South Africa's leading nature and conservation-based tourism destinations, offering a wealth of game viewing and diverse scenic beauty. The Eastern Cape also enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine per year and this allows for a vast range of activities.
The Bonkola Dam, just out of town on the Dordrecht road, is one of the town’s main sources of water. The wall was built in 1905 and was for years the largest concrete dam wall in South Africa. Now a popular recreation spot, the beauty of the dam is enhanced by the close proximity of hills which hold the expanse of water in a deep basin.
